Had a cheap breakfast/brunch with friends. Friendly staff, quicker service and the offers on the menu was great making the experience a very good price. The booth seating was nice and comfortable.
Terribly cooked burger and chicken wings fried to death, so much so they were all in one clump in the bowl. Asked for money back for wings, didn't even get a sorry, just mumble. I know it's a spoons and stuff is cheap and fast but have some pride.
Wetherspoon pub. Crowded but efficient. Orders are taken at the bar. Food is basic, cheap but tasty. I had ham, egg and chips which was very good. Service is speedy.
Probably the nicest Spoons pub in the country. A few bad points on the food which can be on the cold side. Have also had to have a word with the manager about a chef (?!) who needed some attention to his hygiene
Always busy, but always pretty quick service despite that. Food hot (where appropriate), good selection of beers. Excellent prices. It may not be 'table d'hote', but it's good, wholesome, filling food.
