We have not been to the inn before but we like the line up of the band they had so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The bar is well done up from a mid of big copper like pipes to hold the beer tapes to the clean glasses hang above the reflect the warm colours of the light to a light up board showing up coming events in the pub , great service and a cozy space here the band had set up. Really enjoyed the evening and from all the dancing that was going on I think others were having a great time too. Did I mention the very polite bouncers .

The food when we got it was lovely but it was the wait for it was terrible. We were seated by half 7. The starter came out at 8. 20. Main course at 9. 10. Then dessert at 9.50. .

A very pub you could take your mum (for lunch say) or have a few pints with the lads. This very tastefully finished pub seems to have something to attract every possible customer, judging by the mix of clients I've seen. There is good mix of different types of seating but you may struggle to find somewhere to sit at the busiest times. There are big screens with different sports showing in the main entrance area for the more trendy sports fan (this is central Stamford you know). The toilets are well kept, which reflects the whole place in my view. Well worth a visit.

What a great place - sports bar / pub / restaurant. Girlie lunch so we sat upstairs where it was more quiet. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be going back

Good value Sunday lunch, large portion and decent roast potatoes. Roast lamb came with a stuffing ball and large Yorkshire pudding. Worth getting side of cauliflower cheese. Could have done with a little bit more toffee sauce in the sticky toffee but overall very tasty.
