Great place for a calm walk and such a relaxing place to sit down and take in everything what nature has to offer. Not only is there nature to see here but the amazing art and sculptures. I loved the fountains and the views onto the lake right at the top. Definitely recommend, also it is quite hard to find it. I have been to Burghley house and surrounding areas but only stumbled across this place this summer.
If you are visiting Stamford, then a trip to the historic and beautiful Burghley House and the sculpture garden is a must. It a great place for children and makes for a lovely family day out. The estate also has a nice restaurant, The Orangery, a lovely gift shop and cafe. The estate also has a seasonal calendar of quality events including outdoor cinema, a Christmas Market and live music concerts.
