Great vets for bva eye test
Cant speak in terms of care as didnt even get that far due to such poor and patronising customer service! We went in person into the vets to ask a few questions about the services they offer- we were not impressed as the receptionist had no idea of answers to any of our questions - things as simple as do you sell borderline? What service do you offer in an emergency out of hours? Can we register him? Instead we were advised to go away and look on the website. We did this giving the receptionist the benefit of the doubt in case she was new. On filling in the form to register it would not allow the form to be sent- I contacted them by phone to explain and the response I received was just keep trying! I explained I had tried several times and asked if there was not other way they could register him. Finally she begrudgingly gave me an email address to send the details on to. I screen shot the registration form and sent it to this address where they told me they would register him. The next day I receive an extremely patronising email explaining they were not Stamford vets but Clear ridge Stamford vets- clearly they didnt understand it was simply a reference to wanting to register him in Stamford branch and not Peterborough one. More worrying is that they didnt even recognise the screen shot registration form as their own and they thought this belonged to Casterton vets. A very snotty comment assuring me that their form very much worked- FACT it wasnt working as I showed you this in the screen shot! I responded explaining that it was with them that we wanted to register him and not the other vets and reinforcing (after trying again Sat/Sun/Mon) that the registration form wouldnt allow me to submit it and even after going in in person we were told to go away- no reply given back. We contacted them on phone and woman was extremely rude and patronising- she said she had received the email but still wanted us to send it again- at which point we decided this vets, with its disorganisation, lack of experienced staff and struggle for polite and helpful customer service wasnt for us! As previously said I cant comment on the actual care but the service we received in just wanting to register him was shocking and embarrassing in comparison to our previous vets Animates who were amazing! Only reason we wanted to move him is we have moved house and distance from new house to Animates is too far! Would recommend Animates to anyone though- fantastic service and put Clear ridge to shame!
Friendly staff, very clear and helpful whilst answering all our questions well. Even do home visits for when the worst comes to the worst.
Took my money but still no follow up of results and treatment from my visit on 23 May 2018 it's now 29th September 2018
