no problems with the carpets or fitters themselves, but shame they can't stick to their arrangements with regards to fitting and therefore messed up our plans twice. no apology and had to chase 3 times for a response to my complaint and found the store manager rather rude & unhelpful.

This is not a review of Carpetright as a whole but the Stamford branch in particular. Went to view carpets, and requested samples. 14days later they had not arrived. Rang twice to be told they could not do anything about it other than request them again and I must wait 5-7 business days. Tried to book a measurement of property twice to be told both times they were in the middle of something and could I call back later despite them answering the phone. Would highly recommend avoiding the Stamford branch entirely and try the Peterborough branch instead
The gentleman in the store was very helpful and gave us great detail about the different floorings. However, for the price we paid we expected the men who installed it to be more thorough. Upon the completion of the floor's application, we discovered MANY air bubbles beneath the floor. It was not installed properly. It seemed to just be sealed around the edges and not glued to the floor. I could move the floor around just by walking on it. Now I'm not sure if these men are to be the reflection of the store as a whole but they certainly were lacking the skill and knowledge needed to do their job properly. Thankfully the man in the store was able to contact the men and they will return later today to correct their awful work. I'm so disappointed with their lack of effort. This was not a 20 minute job. I do hope that this gets sorted later on today...UPDATE: then men came back later that day, took up the flooring and said they would be back tomorrow to finish the job. They came back the next day and used only a spray glue by the door only after we SPECIFIED we wanted the whole entire floor glued down with a wet glue that could be rolled along the floor. So again, they messed us about, wasted our time and did not do their job. Again I had to complain and have someone new come around and do the job properly. This man came and applied the floor up to our expectation and we are very pleased. We had to pay yet another fee for this new man to correct the floor. After 2 days of all this nonsense and being thrown around for a ride, i can comfortably say i do not recommend this service. The store was lovely but you should not have to babysit grown men and show them how to do their job.
The person who helped us pick our karpet was nice and cheerful and they sell carpets for all price ranges
