A wonderful home from home environment. My children loved their time at The Ark and as a parent I found it such a welcoming place. My children and I had fantastic relationships with the staff within the nursery and it really was like their second home. They never wanted to leave in the evening as they'd had such a wonderful day. They thrived in the nurturing and stimulating environment. My children especially loved their time at Forest School and my eldest still talks about Forest School even though they left nursery years ago! The food is also delicious, I think Karen needs to release a cook book! What an amazing experience. My children could not have had a better start to their education!

My son first started in the baby room at the Ark Nursery in 2011, my first daughter in 2014 and my youngest daughter in 2015 and all 3 attended until they left to go to school (my youngest is in preschool at the moment) and the place and the staff have become like a second home. My children only attended 2-3 times a week but they all formed a great bond with the staff and my eldest 2 still get excited to go in and pick up their sister from preschool and see the staff and let them know how they are getting on at school! The staff are genuine, caring, kind, professional but most importantly they go the extra mile to make sure the children are happy, well cared for and loved; as well as ensuring parents are well informed, well supported and kept up to date with their child's progress. There are many nursery's in and around Stamford (some of which are closer to my home) which I could have chosen but I have no doubt whatsoever I made the correct choice for my children. We will all be bereft when September comes and my daughter leaves!

The ark nursery is absolutely fantastic, the staff all so walm and welcoming, its such a lovely environment for the children to develop and blossom. Cant recommend them enough. My little girl loves it and has made some lovely friends along the way.

With twins, a break occasionally and some new friends for my boys was the reason why I joined the ark. Unfortunately after three months - one spent at their foundary Road branch and two at St. Georges we have had to give up. Although the facilities are fantastic (baby room very small at foundary road) and the staff pleasant and friendly the biggest issue was the parking- both sites have serious issues clashing with local schools. It became impossible to attend because inverably I would end up arriving desperately trying to unload two babies whilst local state school children and their parents (who clearly resented me for driving my car to the nursery - I live 30mins from the nursery) pointed and scowled at me muttering the unmentionable. In fact it became so bad I would often leave shaken/in tears. The nursery were not supportive in this regard and even my visits with the schools asking for help went unheeded. I never considered the parking issues and so I would recommend that anyone interested in the Ark nurseries be within walking distance only.
