Fantastic people who work here, great food and a very historical building. You couldn't possibly not like this wonderful place. Varied menu, with so many things you would Love to eat!
We usually have coffee in the morning here. It's always good as are the meat and potato pasties we sometimes take home for tea. Excellent waiting staff.
Just popped in for a coffee and a cake whilst on a shopping trip. Nice quaint place with lots of character. We went around lunch time so cafe was busy. The food served to other customers looked very good. Well prepared and nicely presented.
Very pleasant. Had a lovely lunch, tuna melt, the panini was lovely and soft, also came with a small salad and crisps. Cappuccino delicious, best in a long while. Staff very friendly. The place was busy with people coming and going, the whole time, but felt very calm. One of the oldest and best Cafe's in town.
Lovely old building in great location. Great cake options and all the usual tea and coffee options. Good lunch menu too. Note - Upstairs seating closes earlier than downstairs for cleaning. Friendly and helpful staff, and stays open to a reasonable time. Would be even better if it could keep open until half five at least on a weekend!
